Since the closure of The Pines Queensland Transport office ten months ago, residents have been inconvenienced considerably by having to travel to Burleigh

With the opening of the new transport office on Currumbin Creek Road, Currumbin Waters, residents on the southern Gold Coast will be able to access a modern, stream-lined facility closer to home.

Member for Currumbin Jann Stuckey MP said: “There is no doubt this is a much needed service in the Currumbin electorate and it has already attracted a large number of customers. I am sure I speak on behalf of countless residents who were disadvantaged by a lack of access when I say we are very pleased to have this State Government service in our midst.”

The new office will be managed by Mr Michael Bailey, who has been with Queensland Transport for 17 years, and also manages the Bermuda Street transport office.
