A Tim Nicholls-led LNP Government will provide a substantial funding boost to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

LNP Leader Tim Nicholls said it was crucial Currumbin Wildlife Hospital continued its hard work with funding certainty.

“The wildlife hospital does fantastic work saving our native wildlife,” Mr Nicholls said. “As part of our plan to provide safe and liveable communities, we will invest an extra $900,000 over four years.

“This is a substantial funding increase, providing certainty for the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

“The investment will allow the hospital to purchase new equipment, hire new staff and upgrade old equipment to continue treating sick and injured animals.

“It’s because of local member Jann Stuckey’s hard work that an LNP Government will undertake this investment.”

LNP Member for Currumbin Jann Stuckey said the funding would allow Currumbin Wildlife Hospital to continue its work for years to come.

“I am incredibly proud to be a part of the LNP team that has committed to providing this funding boost for the hospital,” Ms Stuckey said.

“Currumbin Wildlife Hospital is an icon of the Coast and everyone knows the fantastic work they do caring for sick and injured animals.

“Only the LNP will provide safe and liveable communities through this investment.”
