Member for Currumbin, Jann Stuckey MP, has congratulated local community groups and not-for-profit organisations that received funding in the latest round of grants from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.

“The Currumbin Electorate is bursting with associations and organisations that are looking to improve their facilities for the betterment of the community.

“I congratulate the latest funding recipients – Currumbin District Horse Club, Currumbin Gymnastics Committee, Gold Coast Curling Club, Tallebudgera State School P&C, St Augustine’s Parish P&F, Tugun Bowls Club and Twin Towns Kindergarten.

“Grant funding has been allocated for a wide range of projects, including purchasing equipment, installation of solar systems and disability upgrades.

“There is no doubt that these groups need every bit of help they can get to achieve their goals and continue to provide much needed services to our local area.

“Funding to the tune of $461 million has been provided to not-for-profit organisations across Queensland since the establishment of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund in 1994.
