Safety Upgrade for Tallebudgera Creek Road

Work began today on the construction of traffic signals at the Tallebudgera Creek Road and Tallebudgera Connection Road intersection.

Jann Stuckey MP, Member for Currumbin, said the Work will include the installation of traffic signals as well as improved linemarkings and signage.

“The work is expected to take up to six weeks, between 9am and 3pm, with some traffic minor traffic interruptions to be expected,” she said.

“This project aims to increase the safety and efficiency of traffic flow at this intersection.

“A 40kph will be enforce until the completion of the work, so I urge local motorists to be mindful of the speed change and to take care when driving through the construction site.

“Safety of local school children using the nearby bus stop will also be maintained during construction with the assistance of a traffic controller.

“I encourage any residents who may have concerns about the safety of their local street or an intersection in the Currumbin electorate to contact me,” she finished.
